1. ADMISSION COMMITTEE

• • The admission committee streamline the admission activities so as to ensure the smooth and effective progress of the admission process.
  • This committee also disseminate and comply with all the rules and regulations of admission as prescribed by statutory agencies.

 ACADEMIC COMMITTEE

• • The academic committee looks after different academic, co-curricular and examination related activities of the college.
  • The main objective of this committee is to work for the academic atmosphere and smooth conducting of different examination as per scheduled mentioned in the academic              calendar.
  • Preparations of academic calendar, class time-table, examination time-table and smooth conduct of examination are main activities of this committee.
  • The committee also organises various guest lecture and seminars/webinars for the academic growth of students and the faculty members.
  • The committee conducts Parent-Teacher meet to discuss the performance of student and also take feedback to maintain cordial relationship between parent, teacher and                  students.
  • The committee suggests and conducts various co-curricular activities to be organised in an academic year.
  • This committee conducts various activities that allow students to identify and explore their hobbies and interest
  • The committee is also responsible for organisation of exhibition, celebration of important days and organisation of various competitions and events.
  • Committee plans and conducts various excursions and picnic to the interest of student which is of educational, cultural, historical, religious and geographical importance to              them.

3. STAFF COUNCIL

• • Staff council is advisory body to assist the Principal in academic matter as and when required.
  • The committee formulates recommendations for activities, changes and solutions which are required for the development and further improvement of the college.

 GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE

• • The committee addresses and settles the grievances of the students and faculty through sensible and satisfactory interactions and guidance.
  • This committee provides a mechanism to address student-student, student-teacher, and teacher-teacher grievances (if any) and take measures to solve the problems faced by them.
  • The committee encourages students to express their problems freely and frankly without any fear.
  • The committee advises student of the college to respect the right and dignity of one another and show utmost restraint and patient whenever any occasion of rift arises.

5. SOCIAL AWARENESS AND EXTENSION COMMITTEE

• • This committee organizes and manages events related to social awareness.
  • It also conducts extension and outreach programmes to sensitize the students to develop social values, widespread their knowledge towards various societal and                               environmental issues.
  • The committee aims to develop social responsibilities among the students.
  • The committee conducts various outreach programmes in collaboration with various NGOs likes CESCOs, and with MoU’s colleges.

6. LIBRARY COMMITTEE

• This committee aims to create an intellectual environment.
• The committee promote ideas to digitalise and utilise library resources to its optimum level.
• The committee looks after the upgradation of library resources and also suggests books; reference books etc. for the use of students and the faculty members.
• To create awareness for availing library facilities among staff and students.

7. ANTI RAGGING AND DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE

• • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the college.
  • The committee works for the prevention of ragging and is also responsible for maintaining discipline in the college.
  • Any complaint about ragging is brought in to the notice of Anti ragging committee which takes cognizance of the matter and takes immediate actions.

8. PLACEMENT, GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING CELL

• • The aim of placement guidance and counselling cell is to provide comprehensive guidance programs and services that will equip students with necessary knowledge, attitude         and skills to become mature and socially responsible individuals.
  • The committee organises various programmes to develop their communication skills, personality etc.

9. RESEARCH AND IPR COMMITTEE

• • To organize research activities for the staff and students of the college.
  • To organize orientation lectures in research for students.
  • To assist the departments in organizing research seminars.
  • To take up major/minor research projects for the college.
  • To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
  • To conduct research by following code of conduct and research activities.
  • To maintain plagiarism free research work.
  • Motivate staff to get copyright of their own creative work/literary and artistic work.
  • To create awareness regarding Intellectual Property Rights.

10. NEWS LETTER, MAGAZINE AND MEDIA COMMITTEE

• • The committee provides a platform for the students and the faculty members to express themselves through various forms of writing.
  • This committee disseminate about the department’s progress through publishing newsletter, magazine and also by uploading to the college website, in the social media sites        and newspaper.

11. ALUMNI ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE

• • The committee keeps the record of alumni and highlights the success of alumni.
  • The committee plan to bring together the former students and make efforts to contribute to the college on various aspects.

12. STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

• • The main aim of the scholarship committee is to aware students about various scholarship schemes provided by government.
  • Takes steps to make education affordable and accessible to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students.
  • The committee coordinates with regulatory authorities, other bodies for forwarding the scholarship applications of the students.

13. STUDENT COUNCIL

• • Student council is a group of students elected by election or through merit to participate in designated areas of college regime.
  • This council have student representatives to improve student/faculty relationship.
  • This council aims to develop democratic value, leadership qualities, problem solving and teamwork skills among the students.
  • The council also helps to organise events such as welcome, farewell, etc.

14. STAFF WELFARE COMMITTEE

• • The staff welfare committee establishes a physically secure and comfortable environment for our employees, aiming to enhance and uphold their overall well-being.
  • To organize staff welfare activities such as Staff/Faculty Improvement Programs, Felicitations, Literary Competitions/Picnics, Hikes, etc.
  • To pursue the matter with the Directorate of Higher Education related to Confirmation, Career Advancement and Pay Fixation etc. of the lecturers.
  • To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.

15. SC/ST/OBC/MINORITY & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMITTEE

• • To conduct activities for the betterment of students from SC /ST community.
  • To create awareness of the schemes for the welfare of SC /ST community.
  • To maintain data base of Staff and Students belonging to SC /ST community.
  • To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee
  • To provide equal opportunity to all students for their academic growth
• To establish and ensure zero tolerance policy against any kind of discrimination based on caste, creed, religion and gender

16. ELECTORAL LITERACY COMMITTEE

• • To aware people regarding importance of ‘Right to vote’.
  • To create understanding on different issues related to election rights, democracies and constitutions.
  • To conduct awareness programmes for the future voters about enrolment, and other electoral process like EVM/VVPAT.

17. INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

• • To suggest measures for the safety, development and maintenance of College building infrastructure.
  • To ensure optimal use of the College resources, get defective gadgets repaired.
  • To suggest measures to dispose of outdated and unusable items.
  • To ensure ERP/Computerisation/Automation of Library and Administration/Technology upgradation (overall).
  • To provide internet facility with Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • To facilitate rain water harvesting, energy conservation, Solar lights, LED lights.
  • To promote and maintain green ambience.
  • To ensure hygiene cleanliness, sanitation and healthy practices in the college.
  • To provide details of infrastructure facilities to the IQAC Committee.

18. PURCHASE AND GRANT UTILIZATION COMMITTEE

• • To allocate the annual budget of the college.
  • To scrutinize the indents put forth by the Departments/Labs./Committees/and various sections of the College from time to time.
  • To supervise the process of finding out the suppliers, inviting quotations, preparation of comparative statements, placing of orders and settlement of bills following relevant            rules.
  • To fix the responsibility on erroneous payments, orders and issue warnings to improper suppliers.
  • To maintain the records of the purchase and grant utilisation and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
