PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOME (PLO)

The program learning outcomes of Two-Year B.Ed. programme are in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur Chhattisgarh. The Program outcomes of B.Ed. are intended towards making the education process a more holistic experience for the pupil teachers.On the successful completion of the Two-year B.Ed. programme, the pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Understand nature of education and pedagogic processes through enriched experiences.
  2. Build and practice the right attitude, value and ethics needed for teaching profession.
  3. Empower themselves with the subject content and pedagogy.
  4. Apply teaching skills and methodology to deal with classroom problems.
  5. Understand and cater to the needs of the diverse students.
  6. Contribute to the community service programme.
  7. Sensitize themselves on issues related to environment protection, gender, literacy and other concurrent issues.
  8. Develop scientific temperament and ICT knowledge for changing technological challenges and globalisation demands.
  9. Attain harmonious development of their personality.
  10. Become reflective learners with insight for human welfare.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME (CLO): SEMESTER-II

  • PAPER-IV: SOCIOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES OF EDUCATION

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Understand social diversity in the state and classroom and its implication for teaching.
  2. Understand and be able to use some of the key concept related to social stratification.
  3. Understand the nature of cast and the changes taking place in it will learn to focus on scheduled caste and their education.
  4. Understand the problems faced by travel committees and that in the education of tribal children.
  5. Understand how poverty affects the schooling prospects of children in the context of migrant children.
  • PAPER-V: LEARNER AND LEARNING PROCESS

The pupil teacher will able to-

    1. Acquire knowledge and understanding of stages of human development and developmental tasks; with special reference to adolescent’s learners.
    2. Develop understanding of process of children learning in the context of various theories of learning.
    3. Understand intelligence, motivation and various types of exceptional children.
    4. Develop skills for effective teaching learning process and use of psychometric assessment.
  • PAPER-VI (ELECTIVE-I): (A) EDUCATIONAL AND MENTAL MEASUREMENT

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Acquaint with the basic scientific concepts and practices educational and mental measurement.
  2. Tabulate and find out some standard meaning from the raw scores by using statistical procedures.
  3. Develop skills and competencies in the student teacher for the use of the techniques in the field.
  4. Interpret the result of educational measurement.
  5. Understand about various educational and mental measurement tools.
  • PAPER-VI (ELECTIVE-I): (B) EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Obtain a total perspective of the role of technologies in modern educational practices.
  2. Equip with various technological applications available to him/her for improving instructional practices.
  3. Obtain a total gender of his role of scientific management in education.
  4. Acquire the skills required for effective instructional and institutional management
  5. Develop the professional skills required for guiding pupils in the three initial areas educational, penal and victual
  • PAPER-VI (ELECTIVE-I): (C) EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION & MANAGEMENT

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Acquaint with the concept and concerns of educational administration.
  2. Develop an understanding of the role of the headmaster and the teacher in school management.
  3. Understand to concept at Importance of communication and its possible barriers in educational administration.
  4. Critically analyse the administrative scenario In relation to the functioning of the other secondary schools of the area.
  5. Acquaint with the scientific practices of educational management and keep him to apply it in work situation
  • PAPER-VI (ELECTIVE-I): (D) ART EDUCATION                                   

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Work together on small and large projects. .
  2. Acquaint with basic elements of design.
  3. Develop an insight towards sensibility and aesthetic appreciation.
  4. Develop a perspective of artistic and creative expression
  • PAPER-VII: CURRICULUM AND KNOWLEDGE

The pupil teacher will able to-

  1. Understand the nature of curriculum and its relation to syllabi, text books and class room practices
  2. Understand the nature of knowledge, moral values and skills
  3. Examine the place of work in education
  4. Understand the implications of constructivism for education
  5. Develop and apply a framework for studying curriculum documents
