PROGRAMME LEARNING OUTCOME (PLO)
The program learning outcomes of Two-Year B.Ed. programme are in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur Chhattisgarh. The Program outcomes of B.Ed. are intended towards making the education process a more holistic experience for the pupil teachers.On the successful completion of the Two-year B.Ed. programme, the pupil teacher will able to-
- Understand nature of education and pedagogic processes through enriched experiences.
- Build and practice the right attitude, value and ethics needed for teaching profession.
- Empower themselves with the subject content and pedagogy.
- Apply teaching skills and methodology to deal with classroom problems.
- Understand and cater to the needs of the diverse students.
- Contribute to the community service programme.
- Sensitize themselves on issues related to environment protection, gender, literacy and other concurrent issues.
- Develop scientific temperament and ICT knowledge for changing technological challenges and globalisation demands.
- Attain harmonious development of their personality.
- Become reflective learners with insight for human welfare.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME (CLO): SEMESTER-I
PAPER-I: PHILOSOPHICAL PERSPECTIVE OF EDUCATION
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Understand the relationship between philosophy and education and the impact of philosophy on education.
- Understand the importance and role of education in the progress of Indian society.
- Understand the need to study the context of education.
- Understand the process of social change and socialization.
- Understand their role in building a new social order in the country and various social welfare opportunities
- Bring a new thinking towards promotion of national integration and protection of human rights.
PAPER-II:NAI TALIM: AN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Understand the concept of local community by introducing Nai-Talim and its significance in Indian context and historical perspective.
- Understand Gandhian thoughts and philosophy.
- Encouraged for work-based learning by introducing agencies of school and society and self-help groups.
- Understand the importance of renewable energy.
- Aware about the concept of nutrition and balanced diet
- Aware about communicable and non-communicable diseases, first aid, personal and community hygiene.
- Promote local occupations with literacy and technology integration.
PAPER-III: PEDAGOGY TEACHING OF HINDI
छात्राध्यापक सक्षम होगा-
- छात्राध्यापक भाषा की भूमिका को जानेंगे।
- छात्राध्यापक हिंदी भाषा की स्थिति और भूमिका को जानेंगे।
- छात्राध्यापक भाषा शिक्षण पर दृष्टिको समझ सकेंगे।
- छात्राध्यापक भाषा के स्वरूपों को जानेंगे।
- छात्राध्यापक भाषायी दक्षता को जानेंगे।
PAPER-III: PEDAGOGY OF LANGUAGE (ENGLISH)
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Understand the role, nature and structure of language.
- Understand the relationship between language and society.
- Develop sensitivity and competency towards catering to a multilingual audience in the classroom.
- Use multilingualism as a strategy in the classroom situation.
- Identify different approaches/methods and theories to language learning and teaching.
- Develop the professional competencies regarding the different aspects of language.
- Understand the use of language in context such as grammar and vocabulary.
- Acquire the understanding of different language skills (LSRW) and development of the same.
PAPER-III: PEDAGOGY OF SOCIAL SCEINCES
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Develop and understanding of the nature of social science.
- Acquire conceptual understanding of processes of teaching and learning social science.
- Acquire basic knowledge and skills to analyse and transact the Social Sciences curriculum effectively following wide-ranging teaching learning strategies in order to make it enjoyable and relevant for life.
- Sensitize and equip themselves to handle social issues and concerns in a responsible manner, e.g., preservation of the environment, promoting inclusive education, preventing and social exclusion of children coming from socially and economically, deprived backgrounds and saving fast depleting natural resources (water, minerals, fossil fuels etc.)
PAPER-III:PEDAGOGY OF MATHEMATICS
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Develop insight into the meaning nature scope and objectives of mathematics education.
- Understand and appreciate the uses and significance of mathematics in day to day life.
- Focus on nature of children’s mathematical thinking through direct observation of children’s thinking and learning processes.
- Stimulate curiosity, creativity and inventiveness in mathematics.
- Appreciate mathematics as a tool to engage the mind of every students
PAPER-III: PEDAGOGY OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Understand insight on the meaning and nature of biological science for determining aims and strategies of teaching and learning.
- Appreciate that science is a dynamic and expanding body of knowledge.
- Appreciate the fact that every child possesses curiosity about his/her nature surroundings.
- Identify and relate everyday experiences with learning biological sciences.
- Explore the process skill in science and role of Laboratory in teaching -learning.
- Use effectively different activities/ experiments/demonstration/laboratory experiences for teaching- learning of biological science.
- Integrate the biological science knowledge with other school subjects.
PAPER-III: PEDAGOGY OF PHYSICAL SCIENCE
The pupil teacher will able to-
- Gain insight on the meaning and nature of physical science for determining aims and strategies of teaching –learning.
- Appreciate that science is a dynamic and expanding body of knowledge.
- Appreciate the fact that every child possesses curiosity about his/her natural surroundings.
- Identify and relate everyday experiences with learning physical science.
- Appreciate various approaches of teaching learning of physical science
- Understand the process of science and role of laboratory in teaching learning situation.
